Ledgerly ("we", "our", "the app") helps small businesses in Malaysia scan and organize receipts, invoices and delivery orders. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled.

What we collect

• Your Google account email and name — to identify your account and enforce your plan's usage limits.
• Access to your Google Drive and Google Sheets — only to create and update the Ledgerly spreadsheet in your own Drive where your scanned records are stored. We do not browse, read, or modify any other files in your Drive.
• Photos of receipts, invoices and delivery orders you upload — sent to our AI provider (Anthropic's Claude) for one-time text extraction, then discarded. We do not keep a copy of your images on our servers.
• Usage data — how many documents you've scanned this month, so we can enforce your plan's limit, and (if you're a paying customer) your subscription status via Stripe.

How we use it

Solely to operate the app: verifying who you are, reading/writing your own Ledgerly spreadsheet in your Drive, extracting data from documents you upload, and billing you correctly for your chosen plan. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where your data lives

Your scanned records live in a Google Sheet inside your own Google Drive — not ours. Our server keeps only your email, plan, and a running count of monthly scans, in order to enforce plan limits and process payments.

Third parties we rely on

• Google — for sign-in and to store your records in your own Drive/Sheets.
• Anthropic — to read the text on documents you upload (via the Claude API). Images are processed and not retained.
• Stripe — to process subscription payments, if you choose a paid plan. We never see or store your card details directly.

Your choices

You can disconnect Ledgerly's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Signing out of Ledgerly ends your session on that device. Deleting the Ledgerly spreadsheet from your Drive removes your stored records.
